Shoes and boots are used to symbolize the lost lives of Iraqis and U.S. soldiers. Hey Joe,
I'm glad that you took these photos. They are very moving. I drove by the park and honestly had no idea what was going on. I wish I had stopped by and that there was some press on the exhibit. Lynne

I have viewed your photos many times and I am moved to tears everytime. Thank you for posting this. Pehaps now with the house and senate, we can begin talks of peace and end this human slaughter.

I found your photos after looking for information on Rose Hill Cemetery in Commerce City. I missed this exhibit and am glad that you took the time to post your images so that I can see what it was like. It is even more moving with the passage of some time.
