The photographs in this blog were taken in Denver during the week of the Democratic National Convention, and at Colorado Obama rallies. Other topics include Denver murals, the Eyes Wide Open exhibit in 2006, and the Occupy Denver movement of 2011. Be peaceful.

Hey Joe,
I'm glad that you took these photos. They are very moving. I drove by the park and honestly had no idea what was going on. I wish I had stopped by and that there was some press on the exhibit. Lynne
Excellent pictures! Your focus on particular civilian shoes is very moving.
I have viewed your photos many times and I am moved to tears everytime. Thank you for posting this. Pehaps now with the house and senate, we can begin talks of peace and end this human slaughter.
My friend, my love, Happy Thanksgiving.
I found your photos after looking for information on Rose Hill Cemetery in Commerce City. I missed this exhibit and am glad that you took the time to post your images so that I can see what it was like. It is even more moving with the passage of some time.
