The Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library in Denver's Five Points neighborhood had an exhibit called "When Hope Won: the Road to the White House" from January 10 to mid-March, 2009. The exhibit featured paintings, newspapers, memorabilia and some photographs taken by Colorado residents at various rallies and the Democratic National Convention during Obama's historic run for the white house.
For more information about the exhibit see the library's website: When Hope Won: The Road to the White House.
Some of my own photographs were included in the exhibit, including this one:
Most of the items on display were contributed by Denver and Colorado residents. This exhibit was a nice way to involve the community in creating something to chronicle Colorado's involvement in these historic events.
